Challenge
Novalink Innovations required a custom system to manage internal projects effectively while keeping all team members updated with real-time notifications and AI-assisted planning suggestions. The challenge was building a user-friendly system that handled complex project management features without introducing clutter or cognitive overload.
Key challenges included:
• Designing an SPA interface that is fast, responsive, and scalable
• Integrating AI-based planning tools to support task prioritization and
project scheduling
• Enabling automated email notifications for task updates and deadlines
• Creating dashboards that provide quick insights into project progress
• Maintaining consistency and usability across multiple modules and
features
• Balancing full functionality with a minimalistic design for
personal/team use
To guide the design, I mapped key user workflows, prioritized
high-frequency actions such as task creation, project tracking, and
notification management, and conducted UI research for modern project
management tools.
Solution
The solution focused on creating a single-page
application that balances full functionality with usability:
• Developed using React 18, TypeScript, Vite, and Tailwind CSS for a
fast, modern, and responsive SPA experience
• Designed modular UI components to ensure consistency across all
screens
• Implemented AI-assisted planning features for smarter task scheduling
and project forecasting
• Enabled real-time email notifications for task assignments, deadlines,
and project updates
• Created dashboards that highlight high-priority tasks, project
timelines, and upcoming deadlines
• Ensured scalability to accommodate future features or additional
project tracking modules
This system provides a highly interactive and intuitive environment for managing multiple projects, reduces manual planning effort, improves team awareness through notifications, and showcases a modern UI/UX design tailored to internal SaaS needs.
